"For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." - (Habakkuk 2:3)

Pastors Kenneth and Denise Ivey are natives of Kenner, Louisiana and long-time residents of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Married 40+ years, they have actively served in ministry at Interdenominational Faith Assembly for more than 33 years.

Pastor Kenneth Ivey

“11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:” (Ephesians 4:11-12)

Pastor Kenneth Ivey is a mild-tempered spiritual giant who genuinely loves God’s people. In 1982, he was baptized in the Holy Spirit and served as an anointed Children’s Church Minister and Deacon for more than 20 years under the pastoral leadership of Pastor and Founder – the late Jim and Edith Marie Howard (currently Pastor Guevara and Dr. Shannon Johnson). God divinely called Pastor Ivey by commission and, in 2007 he was licensed by the State of Louisiana to preach the Gospel of Christ. Pastor Ivey attended Word of Faith Bible College and received a certificate from the Therapon Institute in Belief Therapy. He has traveled extensively as a co-laborer in the gospel for over 30 years throughout the United States and abroad. God has gifted him to preach the Gospel to all ages and by that same anointing, many children and youth have received salvation and the baptism in the Holy Ghost.

Pastor Denise P. Ivey

“18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18-19)

Pastor Denise Ivey is an anointed servant who exemplifies God’s unwavering and boundless love for all. In 1982, she was baptized in the Holy Spirit and she joined the ministry at Interdenominational Faith Assembly (currently under the leadership of Pastor Guevara and Dr. Shannon Johnson). Shortly thereafter, God anointed her to the Deaconess ministry and as a prayer warrior/intercessor for the body of Christ. She continued to excel in the Spirit of God and ministered her first message entitled “Obedience is Better than Sacrifice” in 1985. She served as a member of the Achieve to Succeed, Inc. Board of Directors (1994 – 2002), and has served as a member of the Interdenominational Faith Assembly Board of Directors since 2002. Pastor Denise Ivey is a graduate of Word of Faith World Outreach Center in Dallas, Texas, and was awarded a Bachelor of Bible and Theology Degree from Faith Christian University in Orlando, Florida in 2011. She is also a Board-Certified Belief Therapist. God divinely called her by commission according to Luke 4:18, 19 and in 2007, and she is licensed by the State of Louisiana to preach/teach the Gospel of Christ. Today, God continues to use Pastor Ivey as a gifted teacher and yielded vessel through which the impartation of the Spirit of God flows to His people.
